SBUs play a very important role in Kinergy's EMS Division. Our dedicated SBU teams ensure that customers' needs are met. Our duty goes beyond from just managing product manufacturing development, monitoring progress, product pricing and quality. Our account/business development managers are constantly on the look out for improvements and value-added solutions that can be complementary to the customers' products; thus, making cost reductions with higher quality output beneficial to our customers.
From the time that we receive a request for quotation (RFQ) from a customer, a dedicated SBU team will be appointed to overlook the entire project management. The SBU team's initial responsibility is to review and understand the customer's engineering and production specifications and requirements; after which, they team up with the Materials/Procurement Group to source for the most suitable and cost efficient localized materials or 2nd tier relevant suppliers within our ever-growing Approved Vendors Base (AVLs). Finally, all cost components (materials and production) are summarized into an easy to understand format for the customer's consideration. |
