To enhance cost efficiencies, entered into 50%-50% joint venture with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to form Shanghai Jiao-Tong to design and manufacture precision tooling. Develop Kinergy Auto-frame Loader, 1 st Full Machine. |

Set up Kinergy Wuhan, PRC to expand tools and dies business and further tap lower costs there. |

Set up EMS division to provide contract manufacturing services by leveraging on engineering know-how from our OEM operations. Marketed our electro-mechanical contract manufacturing services to multinational companies in USA, Europe and Asia. |

Received first sales order from Kulicke & Soffa , which has remained a major customer since. |
